Hayden Orpheum Picture Palace, Cremorne
If you want an authentic cinema experience, the Hayden Orpheum is the place to be. You’ll feel like you’ve stepped back in time, but you won’t have to compromise when it comes to your choice of movie! All the biggest new releases are shown here, and they also host a number of special events each year. Moonlight Cinema, Centennial Park
For the perfect first date idea, we think it’s hard to go past The Moonlight Cinema, especially while the weather is warm! Take along your own picnic, or grab something delicious at the park, and try not to get distracted by the incredible sunset. The cinema shows a mix of new releases and fan favourites, so be sure to check the schedule and book in advance. Explore what’s showing now here!
Skyline Drive In, Blacktown
A night at the Skyline Drive In will make you feel like you’ve stepped into an episode of Riverdale (minus the Southside Serpents and the Black Hood). Complete with a retro diner, the cinema is perfect for a fun night out with friends or a date with your bf/gf. Tickets are $25 for two people (one car) – all you need is an FM radio and you’re good to go! Check out drive-in session times here.
