If you hate exercise and can’t seem to find the motivation to stick to any fitness routine, then a boot camp could be the answer. Boot camps are an easy way to fit in a hardcore workout and you can catch up with your friends at the same time. We’ve rounded up the best boot camps in Australia so you can start your winter fitness journey now!

Barry’s Bootcamp

When Barry’s landed in Sydney and Melbourne we could not have been more excited. The US-founded program is a favourite with models and celebs with classes burning up to 1000 calories an hour! It’s not all about the calories though. Barry’s is hard work but also serious fun with a banging soundtrack and red-tinged mood lighting adding to the experience. It isn’t the cheapest boot camp out there but first-timers can get a three-class pack for $75. Give it a go!

Activate Bootcamps

Based in Melbourne, Activate Bootcamps are suitable for all fitness levels! Not only do you get a 45-minute full body work out but you also get nutrition advice to help you stay healthy and strong. Those joining for the first time can take part in the 30 Day Bootcamp Challenge, and get a whole month of classes for as little as $87 and the boot camp is run around the city including the CBD, Carlton, Essendon and Ascot. The sessions are all about switching off, focusing on your work out and giving out good vibes. Sounds good to us!

WA Boot Camp

We won’t lie to you, the WA Boot Camp is an intense work out that will seriously test your fitness and endurance, but it’s also so much fun! Don’t worry if you’ve never worked out before – the boot camp is structured to challenge the super fit and improve fitness at any level. Starting at $170 a month, you get three sessions a week in classes of 10 to 30 people. The boot camp runs in Sorrento, Kings Park and Dianella. If you’re in the Perth area, check out WA Boot Camp. You won’t be disappointed!

Hyde Park Crosstraining Fitness Boot Camp

This may seem hard to believe, but this boot camp is completely free! It runs every Monday and Wednesday evening in the CBD. Just remember that it’s super popular and spots are strictly limited so you need to sign up early to avoid disappointment. Scared of committing to an expensive membership? Not sure if you’ll like the boot camp experience? This is the perfect way to see if it’s the work out for you.

We want your opinion! Would you try a boot camp workout or is it not really your thing? Let us know in the comments.
