Lollapalooza
Where – Argentina
When – March 29-31
For the first entry in our list this is quite possibly the biggest festival we have. With such superstar headliners in 2018 as Bruno Mars, The Weeknd, Arctic Monkeys and Travis Scott all musical tastes are covered. Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC)
Where – Las Vegas, Nevada, US
When – Mid to Late May
EDC is an absolute superstar showcase, as with most things in Las Vegas. This music festival featured acts such as Alan Walker and Martin Garrix in the 2018 event. If your keen on getting the full EDC experience there is the option to camp out outside the venue. With this, you can be the first in line and gain access to the best spot in the concert. New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival
Where – Fair Grounds Race Course & Slots, New Orleans, Louisiana, US
When – April 25-May 5
This absolute classic of New Orleans is a celebration of Jazz and music as a whole. There are many stages and events happening at once so it is impossible to catch every performance and every event. However the genres and various events are split into tents so you can know what you want to get into and head into that tent. An exciting blend of events brings names such as the Rolling Stones who are speculated to be attending the 2019 festival. Tickets are available now!

When – March 9th & 11th
Download is a festival for the fans of Heavy Metal and Rock. Featuring artists such as Ozzy Osbourne this is sure to be an intense hard rock experience for those who are brave enough. This event is only for Australia and is an absolute must for fans of the genre. Be sure to check out tickets here!
Splendour in the Grass
Where – Yelgun, Gold Coast, Australia
When – Still to be announced for 2019 (July 20-22, 2018)
With such a massive lineup ranging from Kendrick Lamar to Lorde, from The Wombats to MGMT there is sure to be an artist for you. Such diversity is an important part of the festival as it means that everyone can come along and bring their friends. Rhythm & Alps
Where – Wanaka, New Zealand
When – 29-31 December
This New Zealand festival is the perfect way to end your year, with great music and a scenic location you will be fully immersed in the music. With such headliners as Action Bronson and Vince Staples for 2018 you are sure to enjoy your time at this New Zealand end of year celebration. Watch for tickets over here!
Fuji Rock Festival
Where – Outside Tokyo, Japan
When – July 26-28
The Fuji Rock Festival has not been held at the actual mountain for over 20 years, but it’s still a great festival. Now held at a ski resort which is only a 90 minute train ride out of Tokyo, attendees will need to prepare for some cold nights. The trip is worth the time because in 2018 a diverse cast of talent made appearances. Some of the headline acts include Bob Dylan, Kendrick Lamar, Skrillex, MGMT and Odezsa. Tickets will be available closer to the date.
Maya Music Festival
Where – Bangkok, Thailand
When – December 8-9 2018
The Maya Music Festival is a festival for those who enjoy electronic music. This short festival aims to bring together people from all over so they can enjoy music and then enjoy the country afterwards. Gypsy Land
Where – Kerobokan Kelod, Kuta Utara, Kabupaten Badung Bali
When – December 31 2018
Bali is know as the party central for many people and Gypsy Land only reaffirms this. This wild festival party is perfect for those who enjoy a crazy time out and a futuristic setting. Artists such as Andy Garvey, and Robbie Lowe have been featured in the past and the roster is only going to get better! This party goes from 3pm all the way through the night until 5am the next morning. Tickets can be found online at their site!
Dekmantel
Where – Amsterdam, Netherlands
When – Still to be announced for 2019 (August 1-5 2018)
A festival that features electronic music from over 50 artists spread over 4 stages. The tickets for this event are exclusive in the sense that there was only 5000 tickets sold for each day in 2018. This ensured that each stage had a healthy amount of people and the atmosphere was incredible. This is a great way to spend your time in the Netherlands as the talent of the artists is unmatched elsewhere. Tickets for 2019 can be found here!
Primavera Sound
Where – Barcelona, Spain
When – May 30-June 2
Primavera Sound is a massive event that showcases talents from many genres. Artists can range from Björk to Migos to the Arctic Monkeys. Spanning over three days, this festival will be a show to remember as both the location of Spain being beautiful and the music being incredible. A hidden event in the festival is included and it is the Heineken Hidden Stage. This hidden event features only a few unique artists and is a great way to discover new music. Montreux Jazz Festival
Where – Montreux Music & Convention Centre, Switzerland
When – June 29-July 13
This festival includes many of the greatest names in jazz as well as having some of the biggest names in hip-hop, R&B as well as electronic music. Held at the House of Jazz this festival brings together acts of various styles and popularity. This festival is perfect for immersing yourself in the jazz side of music and fir those who are interested in the jazz style.
